360° Color: A Peek Inside Pantone

Picture 1.png

Pantone launched just a couple of days ago its new Plus Series, the next generation of the classic Pantone Matching System. To celebrate the release, Agency Base Design worked with film director Greg Mitnick and producer and editor of Cool Hunting Ami Kealoha to create a film that gives a behind-the-scenes look into Pantone. With contributions from Pantone insiders as well as leading lights of the design community—John Maeda, Doug Jaeger, and Tina Roth Eisenberg of swissmiss—the four-and-a-half-minute film gives insight into the development of the new series, and highlights Pantone’s central importance in the world of design.

Based designed the packaging and promotional campaign for The Plus Series, which adds 566 colors to the Pantone Matching System. Included in the product line are the classic Formula Guide and Color Bridge, as well Chips Books and guides for Premium Metallics, Pastels & Neons, and CMYK.

Stay tuned for more on The Plus Series.
