Unit Editions is a new, progressive publishing company dedicated to producing high-quality, affordable books about graphic design and the visual arts. As well as superlative visual content, Unit books will have insightful texts, and offer the highest standards of design and production.

Our website will be the place to find information about current and forthcoming titles. From time to time, we’ll post samples of content and additional material not contained in the books. And of course, visitors to the site will be able to buy books. Some of the books bought from here will have added extras that won’t be available in the shops.

But the site isn’t just about Unit books. We’ll also post reviews, comments and articles about design and the world of visual culture. We hope to make this an important destination for design fans, book lovers and anyone who has ever had a tremor of excitement after seeing a bit of nicely kerned Akzidenz Grotesk, a record sleeve by Vaughn Oliver, or a Herb Lubalin ligature.
