From the first visuals featured on rock and roll record sleeves through contemporary music videos and magazines, graphic design has played and integral role in visualizing music.
For instance, Andy Warhol’s artwork for the Velvet Underground and Peter Saville’s iconic Joy Division album covers are forever burned in our collective cultural memory as images synonymous with the music.
In An Expression of the Inexpressible features contemporary international designers whose work showcases the current interactions of music and design.
This exhibition features art, graphic design and video works by Stefan Sagmeister, Non-Format, Karlssonwilker, Mike Mills, Trevor Jackson, Yokoland, Sara Haraigue, Mario Hugo, RD Granados, Stereotype Design, Standard Motion, Si Scott, Sonnenzimmer, Roger Bova, Shannon McGlothin, Jean Jullien, Hannah Waldron, Mike Little, Chris Rubino and Géraldine Georges.

A Better Tomorrow, a new book from members of the online community Newstoday/QBN, is seeking to raise money for the Patrick O’Brien Foundation. As some of you know, the multi-talented Patrick O’Brien (AKA Transfatty) was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease a few years ago and is trying to raise money to help support his efforts to document his struggle.

The fun and functional all purpose skateboard.
Built around the simple idea that form follows function, Hello is not just another skateboard wrapped in a pretty package. Hello has been well thought out and designed for getting everyday skaters around the local campus, onto the board walk for surf checks and for casual rides at the local skate park. Hello’s smaller deck size allows it to store easily in lockers, under desk’s or small spaces. It’s softer wheels provide good grip, while also absorbing the bumps along the road. The trucks, with their ultra turning geometry and high rebound urethane bushings, allow for quicker turns, all of which add up to a fun and highly enjoyable ride.
