The Pattern Foundry is an archive of decorative patterns, open for anyone to license and use, created by designers and artists from around the world. The uses of these patterns are not prescribed; they can be applied anywhere and to anything. All patterns must be licensed (payed for) through the pattern Foundry to be used anywhere.

The patterns are available for use in 3 different ways; digital download, print-per-order and an evolving preprinted range of products. Total current number of patterns in the foundry is 82.

Since 1999, the Art and Design section of the Federal Office of Culture (OFC) is organizing the contest of “The most beautiful Swiss books.” For the fifth consecutive year, the Library of CCSP presents the winners of this contest in 2007 for which 408 books were nominated.
Introduction by Mirjam Fischer, head of the award of the Federal Office of Culture, and Tan Wälchli Laurenz Brunner, designer of the winning catalog.

The exhibition take at the Swiss Cultural Center in Paris during september.

An exhibition with 100 designs by Wim Crouwel celebrating his 80th birthday and also celebrating 20 years Nijhof & Lee.
To celebrate the 80th birthday of Wim Crouwel and 20 years Nijhof & Lee VIVID organises the exhibition 80 | 20 | 100.

100 works by Crouwel will be on display. For this VIVID gallery made a selection out of the superb Crouwel collection of Frank Nijhof and Warren Lee.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue designed by David Quay
