All-Time Winners

My best friend Romuald Stivine (The Lazydog) is having a 12 pages focus in the next issue of WAD Magazine. We wanted to make a “All-Time Winners” book selection. So he asked me to make mine. Here it is… A little bit of swiss, a little bit of that…
The List:
Josef Müller-Brockmann, The graphic artist and his design problems (niggli)
Josef Müller-Brockmann, Monography (Phaidon)
The Designers Republic, IDEA vs Designers Republic (IDEA)
Adrian Shaughnessy, Look at This: Contemporary Brochures, Catalogues and Documents (Laurence King Publishing)
Daniel Mason & Angharad Lewis, Materials, Process, Print: Creative Solutions for Graphic Design (Laurence King Publishing)
Josef Müller-Brockmann, Grid Systems in Graphic Design (niggli)
Nicholas Bourquin, R. Klanten and Christian Mareis, Altitude: Contemporary Swiss Graphic Design (DGV)
Richard Hollis, Swiss Graphic Design (Laurence King Publishing)
Imin Pao and Joshua Berger, 30 Essential Typefaces for A Lifetime (Rockport)
Adrian Shaughnessy, How to be graphic designer without loosing your soul (Laurence King Publishing)
Wim Crouwel, Alphabets (BIS)
Geert Setola et Joep Polhen, La fontaine aux lettres (Fontana)
Niklaus Troxler, Jazz Blvd. (Lars Müller)
I can only make out a few of these book titles from this picture (and the Flickr photo is private). Would you mind listing the titles?
Sweet, I myself have 7 of those titles on my shelf, excellent books!
Look At This, Swiss GD, How To be a GD without…, GD and his.. by Brockhman, Altitude, Win Crouwel, and Materials Process Print.
I would add to that great list “Drip Dry Shirts”
I call this “how to suck at blogging”
1, photo’s too small to read the titles – FAIL
2, no text list of the books – FAIL
3, no amazon links to the books – FAIL
4, the photo’s private on flickr, for no goddamn reason – FAIL
in short, you FAIL at blogging.
you fail at being smart….
Can you list the titles please?
done.
you fail at comebacks, but at least you fixed your shit

thank you Bronson
my all-time fav book list would be:
paul rand: design, form and chaos
paul rand: a designer’s art
armin hofmann: his work, quest and philosophy
armin hofmann: graphic design manual
josef muller brockmann: the graphic artist and his design problems
willi kunz: macro+micro aesthetic
moritz zwimpfer: 2d visual perception
hans rudolf bosshard: typographic grid
wim crouwel: mode en module
very nice list. I also like very much the work of Paul Rand. And Crouwel’s “mode en module” is defenetly very good.
I would add Elements of Typographic Style (any edition) by Robert Bringhurst
