Galerie Anatome is organizing the venue of Wim Crouwel in Paris. This exhibition will run February 9th to April 28th. Opening Friday February 9th from 18h30.

Ok. This is the first post on this new blog. I’ll try here to share ma passion for Swiss design, constructivism and post-constructivism design. I’m not pretending knowing everything on this subject…I just want to share and discuss on this incredible aspect of the graphic design history.

Xavier Encinas is a french Art Director who lives in Paris, he runs his own graphic design studio : peter&wendy. He was also known as Rumbero Design.
He started studing graphic design by his own since 1997.
First he worked for some small clients designing websites. In 2000, when he started his business school studies at l’Institut Supérieur du Commerce* , he took part of the Webart Association as a project manager and art director of the webdesign department. During this time he made several training periodes in big parisian web agencies.
Since 2004, he works as a freelance Art Director specialised on print, logotypes and web projects.
His works have been published in the best international graphic design magazines and books.
In 2004, he also created with Cécilia Michaud “The My Brand Project”: an internationnal graphic design exhibition tour.
In 2006 he creates The Stickylou Project, an online stickers shop. Since 2007, he is also creator of the Swiss Legacy blog, a blog dedicaded to type, grid and Swiss graphic design.
